The Radius Logistics team is expanding their sales force! This is a rare opportunity for an exceptional candidate to secure a professional Inside Sales role with a progressive organization that believes valued employees make stronger teams. Based out of our Surrey headquarters reporting to our Vice President of Sales & their CEO your primary role will be focused on prospecting and developing new profitable business relationships in your given territory. Your skills in effective cold calling exceptional needs analysis relationship building and priority management will serve you well in achieving your targets and commissions associated.
Role and Responsibilities:
Daily cold calling to uncover opportunities for both personal sales and lead generation
Build your pipeline and manage on an ongoing basis.
Independently generate new sales revenue & achieve and exceed your targets
Experience and comfort level dealing and negotiating with C level and all level of contacts
The role is primarily hunting in nature but will also involve Account Management Retention of existing business. You will nuture and develop your client relationships as you secure them.
Use both traditional and electronic communication tools to contact prospective & current customers
Collaborate with your team on pricing decisions administrative needs and strategic sales approach
Maintain and update accurate information in the companys operating systems
Commitment in using corporate CRM (Salesforce) and update daily
Create quotes based on customer profiles shipment history internal costing & pricing resources.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Inside Sales sales experience within the transportation logistics or supply chain industry is preferred but will consider other industry experience.
A proven track record of success!
A strategic sales approach and ability to create an opportunity quickly on the phone.
Bachelors Degree preferred. Experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
Must have a strong understanding of the sales process.
Proven track record in generating profitable revenue growth and retaining existing customers
Entrepreneurial attitude competitive and confident personality

Must have strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly..
Must be adaptable to changing needs of clients
Previous experience or working knowledge of CRM systems is an asset
