Job Description

Were looking for fulltime Direct Support Professionals for our TriCounty region (Calvert St. Marys and Charles Counties). The starting rate of pay for this position is $18.00 per hour and is nonnegotiable. The average annual starting income is $47260 which includes $20 auto allowance and average mileage reimbursement.
Youll be driving individuals to community activities and events each day so your own personal vehicle car insurance and valid drivers license are required. The schedule for this position is generally Monday through Friday 8:30am5:30pm.

What will I do at Abilities Network
- Assist individuals in working toward personal independence by supporting the learning of new skills and building a system of natural supports.
- Driving is required for this position youll be transporting individuals so your own personal vehicle car insurance and valid drivers license is required.
- Deliver customized services tailored to each individuals preferences and personal goals.
- Provide onthejob coaching to assist individuals in becoming independent on the job.
- Encourage the development of individuals interpersonal skills.
What does Abilities Network need from me
- High school diploma or equivalent some college is preferred but not necessary.
- Must have valid drivers license and positive driving record with access to daily use of personal vehicle to travel within assigned region.
- Must carry a minimum of $100000 Automobile Liability Insurance.
- Excellent understanding of time management.
- Strong ability to think creatively and develop solid internal and external relationships with resources in the community.
