Senior Wordpress Engineer
The Responsibilities
WordPress Development and Customization: Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements. Integrate custom functionalities and features.
Website Performance Optimization: Ensure all websites are highly performant with fast load times and optimized server response. Implement effective solutions to enhance website speed security and user experience. Conduct performance audits identify bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies such as caching image optimization and database optimization.
SEO Implementation: Collaborate with the SEO team to implement onpage and technical SEO best practices. Optimize website structure content and metadata for improved search engine rankings
Customization and Development: Customize themes and plugins to meet the specific needs of different geographies.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Delve into the core of our WordPress installations to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure optimal website performance.
Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to understand website goals and develop actionable solutions within tight deadlines 23 days).
Security and Compliance: Implement best practices for website security and ensure compliance with regional regulations.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
Content Management: Work closely with the content marketing team to ensure efficient content management updates and publishing.
Maintenance and Updates: Perform regular website maintenance including security patches updates and backups. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
Google Asset Integration: Implement and optimize Google Analytics Google Search Console Google Ads Google My Business and other relevant Google tools.
Data Analysis: Analyze website performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.

Skills That We Are Looking For
Technical Proficiency: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior WordPress Developer. Expert knowledge in WordPress development including theme and plugin customization.
Performance Optimization: Strong understanding of website performance optimization techniques.
ProblemSolving: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions quickly.
FrontEnd and BackEnd Development: Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and PHP. Indepth knowledge of WordPress core functionalities plugins and theme customization.
SEO and Analytics: Understanding of SEO best practices and experience with web analytics tools.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.
