Head of Department (English) Wandsworth September 2025 Start
Are you an ambitious English Teacher looking to step into a leadership role
We are seeking a Head of English to lead a successful department driving student progress and curriculum innovation starting September 2025.
The Role of a Head of Department & Requirements:
- Lead and manage the English department across Key Stages 35.
- Develop and implement engaging schemes of work and assessments
- Mentor and support teachers within the department.
- Monitor student progress and drive high standards of achievement.
- Hold QTS (or equivalent) with leadership experience in English.
- A degree in English or a related subject (minimum 2:1 from a UKrecognised university.
- Strong leadership organisation and communication skills.
