K&A Appliance in seeking an experienced Groundskeeper / Stable Hand to work fulltime in locations within Lancaster county mostly in Conestoga PA.
Responsibilities
- Mowing large scale grounds Operating commercialgrade mowing equipment to maintain expansive grassy areas requiring proficiency in handling zeroturn mowers riding mowers and other heavyduty lawn care machinery while adhering to precise mowing patterns and ensuring a consistent aesthetically pleasing finish across large areas.
- Tree trimming Responsible for pruning and trimming trees including removing dead or diseased branches shaping trees for aesthetic appeal and maintaining overall tree health by following proper pruning techniques often using hand tools like loppers saws and climbing equipment to access higher branches while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times; this role may also involve clearing debris and maintaining the cleanliness of the work area.
- Tree removal Safely felling cutting relocating stacking or chipping and clearing all resulting debris.
- Other Landscaping Responsible for all matters of landscaping & grounds upkeep mainly for property in Conestoga but also other properties in Lancaster County on occasion.
- Stable work Daily care of horses in a stable including feeding grooming exercising cleaning stalls monitoring their health and ensuring their overall wellbeing often requiring a strong understanding of horse behavior and basic veterinary care practices. - Miscellaneous warehouse work You may be asked to do some work at warehouse locations in Lancaster and/or New Holland that may involve moving appliances & cleaning appliances bathrooms flooring etc...
Schedule
- 8 10 hour a day
- To be scheduled to start between 7am and 9am
- Working mostly Monday through Friday
Pay Rate
- $18.00 to $20.00 per hour (Based on experience)

Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of experience in both landscaping and stable work
- Have a valid Pennsylvania drivers license
Compensation: $18.00 $20.00 per hour
This business is independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the independent business and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of said business.
