The Multidomain Solutions Division (MDS) within the Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to join a new cyber security program and play a key role in supporting governmentcritical systems. You will be part of a program that oversees development integration delivery and operations and maintenance of IT managed security services which encompasses support to monitor the cybersecurity threat and security posture situational awareness for the enterprise. This opportunity is in anticipation of a future contract award!
What youll be doing:
- Design implement and optimize scalable secure and highperformance cloud solutions.
- Apply extensive experience in cloud architecture automation and security across platforms.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive cloud adoption streamline operations and enhance infrastructure reliability.
- Design deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS Azure or GCP.
- Develop and implement cloud automation InfrastructureasCode (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines using Terraform Ansible or similar tools.
- Optimize cloud environments for cost performance and security best practices.
- Implement cloud security measures including identity and access management (IAM) encryption and compliance frameworks (NIST CIS ISO 27001.
- Support cloud migration initiatives including application modernization and hybridcloud integrations.
- Monitor troubleshoot and improve cloud performance reliability and scalability.
- Work closely with DevOps cybersecurity and development teams to enhance cloudbased solutions.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on cloud best practices.
What does Leidos need from me
- Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) with Polygraph security clearance required. Must be U.S. Citizen.
- Masters with 15 to 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 to 16 years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $148850.00 $269075.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
