ZEISS Microscopy is the leading provider of light electron Xray microscope systems correlative microscopy and software solutions leveraging AI technologies. The portfolio comprises of products and services for life sciences materials research semiconductors and various industrial applications as well as education and clinical routine applications.
Your role
The sector manager (f/m/x) in the business sector electronics is responsible for the commercial success of the ZEISS Microscopy portfolio into the electronics and semiconductor markets. Specifically this role carries the responsibility to define the longterm roadmap requirements the competitive market positioning and the gotomarket strategies for ZEISS Microscopy solutions with a focus on semiconductor logic and memory markets and electron microscopy product lines.
The sector manager (f/m/x) is required to identify and propose solutions in terms of the semiconductor industry customers problems and in their language and to support the overall market and portfolio strategy for ZEISS Microcopy in terms of strategy development business modeling market and competitive analysis and profitability.
Through close alignment with sales service and applications teams you will consolidate the needs of semiconductor customers into market requirements for the EM product strategy. You will drive the market sector contributions into upcoming roadmap projects in cooperation with the respective product managers. You will coordinate between global marketing sales and product management to develop market facing messaging which is relevant and impactful for the semiconductor customer and present technology roadmap meeting (TRM) content to key global semiconductor accounts.

Your profile
University degree in electrical engineering physics or equivalent industrybased training
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing testing or in semiconductor capital equipment especially in metrology inspection or failure analysis
Business development product marketing or product management experience a plus
Leadership skills clarity of communication empathy and confidence to influence decision making and build consensus within a matrix organization
