Experience & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Psychology or mental health counselor required
- At least 2 years of experience in the mental health field working in group therapy activities required
A background check security clearance and drug screening are required for this role.

Location: Bessemer AL
Hourly Rate: $21.30$27.80 (based on experience)
Behavioral Health Activity Therapist Responsibilities:
- Develop implement monitor and evaluate therapeutic/recreational activity segments of individual program plans to further the comprehensive treatment of patients.
- Develop specifically planned goals and objectives to be met with the implement of therapeutic recreation.
- Oversee activities including but not limited to individual recreational activities group recreational activities exercises games sports activities hobbies social activities music etc.
- Document all activities pertaining to therapy conducted and record progress notes in each patients mental health record on a regular basis.
