- HACCPLevel 3 (minimum)
- Highcarefood production experience
- Strongknowledge of food safety regulations
- Understandingof SALSA or BRC accreditation requirements
JobSummary:
Asa handson Production Manager you will oversee the entire productionprocess ensuring efficiency compliance and high product quality in ahighcare environment. This role requires a handson leader who can managedaily operations maintain food safety standards and optimise workflows whilefostering a strong team culture.
KeyResponsibilities:
Production& Process Management:
- Overseeand manage endtoend production activities to meet operational targets.
- Ensureefficient use of materials equipment and personnel.
- Continuouslyidentify and implement process improvements.
- Maintainaccurate production records and reports.
- FoodSafety & Compliance:
- Upholdand enforce highcare hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ensurecompliance with HACCP food safety regulations and SALSA requirements.
- Conductregular internal audits and maintain documentation.
Leadership& Team Management:
- Leadtrain and develop a small but dedicated production team.
- Overseescheduling and shift management to ensure smooth operations.
- Promotea culture of accountability teamwork and continuous improvement.
QualityControl & Health & Safety
- Ensureall products meet the required specifications.
- Investigateand resolve any quality or process issues.
- Maintaina safe working environment adhering to all health & safety regulations.
Qualifications& Experience:
- Provenexperience as a Production Manager or similar role in a highcare foodproduction environment.
- Strongleadership and people management skills.
- Excellentunderstanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Experienceworking within a SALSAaccredited facility (preferred).
- Abilityto problemsolve and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strongorganisational and recordkeeping skills.
- Mustbe able to work the set hours: 07:00 15:00 Monday Friday.
- Dueto the location own transport (car/motorbike) is essential.
