Description
We are hiring for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in the companys accounting operations month end close accounting operations including A/R A/P reporting and sales support. Specific duties include journal entries accruals account reconciliations revenue recognition intercompany accounting cash management and supporting internal and external financial audit requests.
Core Responsibilities:
- Month end close process performing monthly journal entries account reconciliations and variance analysis resolving discrepancies analyzing and recording accruals financial statement analysis.
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables functions working closely with a bookkeeper.
- Support and oversee global regions reconciliations.
- Monthly and quarterly financial reporting and financial analysis.
- Support Internal/External Financial Audit requests
- Participate in the development implementation and maintenance of accounting policies processes and internal controls to support the companys growth and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Minimum of 5 years handson experience is required.
- Hands on experience with all aspects of the month end close perform journal entries general ledger account reconciliations.
- Hands on experience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables functions working closely with a bookkeeper.
- NetSuite experience preferred and experience in the technology/ manufacturing sector a plus.
- Experience with intercompany reconciliations and Revenue recognition (SaaS ASC606 hardware sales).
- Technical and operational knowledge of databases is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new content and skills.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with MS suite of programs especially Excel. Provide exceptional client service to internal and external stakeholders (when needed).
