Project Engineer PE Water & Wastewater / Utilities
Location:Austin Texas
Employment Type: FullTime
Position Summary:
We are looking for a growthoriented Project Engineer (PE) to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to advance your career in a locally owned and expanding firm working closely with Principals and coordinating with clients subconsultants and other team members.
Project Types:
- Roadways
- Water/Wastewater Utility Design
- Pump Stations
- Lift Stations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence and research tasks
- Assist in preparing and monitoring project schedules
- Develop designs and drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Prepare engineering plans and reports
- Coordinate with regulatory review agencies
- Ensure work complies with applicable codes and design criteria
- Provide technical assistance during construction phases
- Secure internal approval for completed tasks
- Communicate effectively with team members
Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Experience: 8 years in public works with a focus on utility design
- Licensure: Texas PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Leadership Abilities: Strong communication collaboration and teamoriented task management
