Job Description

  1. Provides oversight of staff development and ensures all training needs are met. Provides leadership and direction to the team including onboarding training reviews performance management delegating and distributing job assignments and maintaining a positive and professional work environment. This includes onboarding and training for new Providers hired into their location and area.
  2. Develop implement and iterate standard work to ensure all members of the team understand the roles and responsibilities within their role and their team members roles.
  3. Works as much as possible inpatient care areas to be present address problems as they come up and support the needs of the care delivery team.
  4. Ensures staff follows departmental policies and procedures objectives OSHA Rules and Regulations HIPAA practices and environmental and infection control standards.
  5. Direct supervision of Supervisors Leads and staff members for staffing needs and management of PTO sick etc. requests. Coordinates staff schedule according to business demand. Will be responsible for rotated call shifts on weekends with other Managers Supervisors and Leads.
  6. Actively engage in tracking patient satisfaction goals and initial education and training for all staff.
  7. Works with Supervisors to plan and manage the clinics budget and approve payroll.
  8. Receives investigates and resolves complaints.
  9. Meets with staff regularly to review and address protocols and facilitate concern/problem resolution.
  10. Maintains supplies by conducting inventory ordering/receiving/distributing supplies accordingly or directing these activities.
  11. Ensures medical equipment is in good working order/condition and coordinates repair/replacement as needed with Director.
  12. Ensure their area is compliant with Vail Health policy and procedures and investigate safety reports as assigned.
  13. Assists staff and providers as needed.
  14. Conducts staff meetings providing updates as applicable.
  15. Role models the principals of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.
