Calo is an app providing personalized meal plans for busy people through nutritional algorithms built with love by chefs nutritionists and software engineers.

Launched in Bahrain in 2019 we have since expanded to 6 countries delivered millions of meals to our customers and launched our very own Grab & Go Cafe concepts.

Role Overview
Our PR Events and Influencer Marketing Specialist will represent Calo in local communities building relationships that bring our mission of making healthy eating easier to life. Youll manage affiliates and brand ambassadors organize ontheground activations and secure strategic partnerships (gyms yoga studios supplement brands weightloss centres etc. to strengthen Calos presence and engagement in Kuwait. By creating a strong network of supporters microinfluencers and business partners youll help position Calo as the goto meal solution for anyone pursuing a healthy lifestyle.

Main Responsibilities

Affiliate Program Management

  • Research & Onboard Affiliates: Identify individuals and organizations aligned with our brand values
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor affiliate metrics optimize campaigns and provide regular feedback to ensure ROI
  • Relationship Building: Maintain open communication support affiliates promotional efforts and celebrate top performers

MicroInfluencer & Brand Ambassador Initiatives

  • Identify & Engage: Source local community influencers and health enthusiasts who embody Calos healthy living ethos
  • Collaborations & Campaigns: Design content briefs set goals (e.g. conversions brand reach) and guide influencers to ensure brand alignment
  • Ongoing Advocacy: Cultivate genuine longterm relationships so ambassadors remain passionate authentic advocates for Calo

OnGround Activations & Events

  • Plan & Execute: Organize popups tastings community gatherings and other experiential events that bring Calo closer to customers
  • Collaboration with Local Groups: Partner with gyms yoga studios sports clubs or community centers to host joint events that spotlight healthy eating
  • Seamless Logistics: Oversee event details (venue setup marketing collateral) to reflect brand identity and deliver a memorable user experience

Strategic Brand Partnerships

  • Identify Potential Allies: Target a wide range of healthfocused entitiesnutrition clinics supplement companies corporate wellness programsto expand Calos market footprint
  • Negotiate WinWin Deals: Align partnership goals and define mutual benefits (cobranded offers referral programs exclusive discounts)
  • Ongoing Relationship Management: Maintain regular checkins track partnership performance and explore new collaboration avenues to amplify impact

Community Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Foster a Strong Network: Build trust and positive relationships with community leaders partner representatives and local influencers to widen Calos support base
  • Act as Brand Representative: Attend relevant meetups expos or healthfocused seminars showcasing Calos offerings and mission

Data & Reporting

  • Monitor Campaign Success: Track KPIs (acquisition rates event participation affiliatedriven revenue etc. to gauge effectiveness
  • Use Insights to Refine Strategy: Adjust targeting messaging or collaborator selections based on realtime data aligning activities with broader marketing goals
  • Regular Updates: Provide concise reports to the Marketing Lead highlighting wins challenges and next steps

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Business or related field
  • 2 4 years of experience in community management partnerships or influencer marketing. F&B or wellness industry a plus
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills in both English and Arabic

Knowledge Competency and Personality

  • Comfortable reaching out pitching ideas and finding mutual benefits with diverse partners
  • Able to plan small to midscale eventsmanaging logistics budgets and creative details
  • Familiar with tracking affiliate performance influencer ROI and community engagement metrics
  • Sociable proactive and empathetic in dealing with brand ambassadors community groups and partners
  • Deeply understands Kuwaiti consumer behaviours and health trends
  • Can juggle multiple campaigns or relationships simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently take initiative set priorities and stay organized while meeting deadlines with attention to detail
  • Passionate about healthy living sharing Calos mission to make healthy eating accessible and inspiring others
