Summary
Great NeuroHospitalist Opportunities in Connecticut
Seeking Neurohospitalist: to provide onsite inpatient neurohospitalist neurology services at in Connecticut with a 7 day on / 7 day off schedule; examine diagnose manage and treat patients with neurological disorders; manage patients other comorbidities following admission and treatment for acute neurologic issues; and on call responsibilities. Requires: MD or foreign equivalent as determined by credentials evaluation or as evidenced by ECFMG certificate BE/BC in Neurology 1 year of experience in general medicine (internal medicine critical care or family medicine with inpatient component) and eligibility for medical licensure in Connecticut.
- Neurohospitalist (inpatient only no outpatient component)
- 7 on /7 off model 26 weeks/year)
- Inpatient rounding on neurology consults (avg max 810/day across all sites); w/oncall evening/overnight during 7 on period
- Remote or onsite support of stroke alerts
- Access to teleneuro platform to provide support remotely when applicable
- Full benefits medical/dental/vision/life insurance/malpractice w/tail/etc
- Board certification or board eligible in neurology
