Your Role as an Occupational Therapist (O.T.:
Patient Care: Evaluate develop and implement treatment plans to help patients regain fine motor skills and independence.
Collaborative Care: Work alongside other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care in skilled nursing and rehab settings.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and document patient progress.
Discharge Planning: Prepare patients for discharge creating summaries and providing instructions for continued care.
Ongoing Education: Stay current with the latest treatment methods through continuing education programs.
What Youll Bring:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy school recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Association or the State Department of Education.
Licensure: Active unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in Nevada.
Experience: At least 1 year of current clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist in a healthcare setting.
Certifications: Current CPR certification and any additional health or screening tests required by specific facilities.
