Job Description
TES Staffing is currently preparing for the September 2024 June 2025 school year. We are looking for individuals who are dedicated and passionate about working with children directly in the classroom setting throughout the Rochester NY area. All position are on a per diem as needed basis during the duration of a typical school day. We support multiple school districts in the Rochester area including Rochester City School District Greece Central School District East Irondequoit Central School District and the Charter Schools of Rochester.
Our scheduling is flexible and perfect for college students retirees or anyone seeking to break into the education field. The majority of our schools are conveniently accessible by bus.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be willing to complete a background check through NYSED upon hire
Prefer applicants with one year prior childcare experience but not required
Job Pay Rates
$15.50 $17.00/ hour
Job Duties
Assist Teacher in daily classroom activities
Assisting in maintaining classroom behaviors and reinforcing positive behavior management strategies
Preparation and clean up of classroom as instructed by the Teacher
Ensure the safety and well being of students during the school day
Perform other duties as requested by teacher school administration and other personnel
