Job Description
Our client is a leading commercial general contractor with over three decades of experience. They specialize in projects across a variety of sectors including healthcare K12 higher education historic renovations hospitality municipal and more. They have a reputation for delivering exceptional results through innovation collaboration and attention to detail.
Position Overview: They need a talented and detailoriented BIM Coordinator to join their growing team. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting virtual design BIM and construction efforts. You will work closely with project managers architects and subcontractors to ensure accurate digital models and construction documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate virtual design and Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes to enhance project planning and .
- Lead clash detection efforts identifying and resolving design conflicts across architectural structural and MEP systems.
- Collaborate with architects engineers and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project designs and timelines.
- Create accurate and detailed documentation of design changes and project updates for the construction team.
- Support the project management team in reviewing project scopes timelines and cost estimates using virtual models.
- Ensure that all virtual design efforts comply with industry standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture Engineering Construction Management or related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in virtual design coordination BIM modeling or similar roles.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit Navisworks AutoCAD etc..
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple teams.
- Detailoriented with excellent problemsolving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
