Position at JBS USA

Talent Development Manager

We are seeking candidates for a program manager role based at our Corporate Office in Greeley. This role is positioned to attract talent and ensure success by mentoring participants during their program.

The JBS Talent Development team is primarily responsible for 4 critical nationwide talent programs:

Global Talent Program 6month program for internal employees to expand careers internationally

Management Trainee Program 12month program targeting college graduates

Internship Program 10week summer program targeting college students

Apprenticeship Program 1 calendar school year in multiple disciplines targeting high school juniors and seniors

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure program success based on clearly defined goals and objectives

Evaluate programs and provide suggestions for continuous improvement to then implement when appropriate

Management of campus recruiting and candidate selection process companywide

Establish and maintain relationships with college campuses through on campus visits career fair attendance and coordination of executive involvement

Recruit highly qualified candidates for the talent programs

Creation of rotation requirements and schedule based on business unit needs

Communication of program goals expectations and structure/schedule to management teams at each location

Train mentors for all trainees

Sponsorship of 2030 trainees which includes processing hire in systems requesting system/security access regular contact with trainees to ensure program is going well and they have what they need intervene with plant HR or manager as necessary to make adjustments/ improvements to trainees experience

Complete regular evaluations of trainees and interns to help them understand areas of strength and areas for improvement

Partner with internal and external training resources to set training topics schedule and logistics for 4 training sessions

of all program components to include intern placements orientation social events development events project presentations and evaluations

of intern review process and interview/selection process for those interns to be considered for future hire into trainee or direct hire roles

Regular travel to campuses and events

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a manufacturing facility preferred JBS/Pilgrims experience strongly preferred

Bachelors degree in human resources Business Agriculture or related field or equivalent experience

Previous experience in HR recruiting or management role preferred

Strong organizational followup negotiation interview and decisionmaking skills required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bilingual (English & Spanish is highly preferred

Demonstrated ability to multitask and handle high work volume

Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee related information

Proficient with MS Office suite

Ability to travel as needed approximately 1214 weeks per year

Can perform the functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

Benefits: Vision Medical and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment

Paid Time Off: sick leave vacation and 6 company observed holidays

401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule

Base salary range of $65000 $75000

Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Companys annual bonus plan the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado JBS and Pilgrims is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to a candidates relevant experience qualifications skills competencies and proficiency for the role.
