The Project Manager of Quality will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality are upheld across all our construction projects. This individual will lead quality assurance initiatives implement quality control processes and collaborate with project teams to maintain compliance with industry standards project specifications and client requirements.

As a key leader the Manager of Quality Control will inspire and mentor teams drive a culture of continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to excellence.

This position is located in Mississauga Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop implement and manage the companys quality control program across all projects.

  • Lead by example fostering a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement in quality standards.

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications codes and industry standards.

  • Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to site teams ensuring quality control best practices are embedded at all levels.

  • Collaborate with project managers site supervisors and trades to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.

  • Review project plans drawings and specifications to identify potential quality risks and recommend proactive solutions.

  • Ensure all materials and workmanship meet required standards through comprehensive testing and documentation.

  • Lead and coordinate quality audits and inspections by internal teams clients and thirdparty agencies.

  • Provide training and guidance to site teams on quality control practices and procedures empowering employees to take ownership of quality outcomes.

  • Prepare and maintain detailed quality control reports and documentation ensuring transparency and accountability.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for qualityrelated matters with clients consultants and subcontractors demonstrating strong leadership in stakeholder management.

  • Facilitate lessons learned sessions at the conclusion of projects documenting key takeaways and sharing insights across teams to promote continuous improvement.

  • Continuously review and enhance quality control processes to improve project outcomes demonstrating an innovative mindset and proactive problemsolving.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in the construction industry with a strong background in ICI residential or special projects.

  • Handson experience working as a Site Supervisor or Project Manager is highly valued.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams toward achieving excellence.

  • Familiarity with construction trades and practices is essential.

  • Strong knowledge of construction codes standards and best practices.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and problemsolving skills.

  • Effective communication decisionmaking and leadership abilities with a focus on collaboration and proactive issue resolution.

  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools is an asset.

Education:

  • A degree or diploma in construction management engineering or a related field is an asset but not mandatory.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CQM ISO 9001 are advantageous.
