ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a skilled Python Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in Django and PostgreSQL with strong problemsolving skills and a passion for building scalable and testable web applications. This is a remote position so the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed team is essential.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Develop maintain and improve web applications using Python and Django.
- Design optimize and manage PostgreSQL databases.
- Write testable code including unit tests and endtoend automation tests.
- Work closely with team members to implement new features and enhance existing ones.
- Participate actively in standups planning meetings and team discussions.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure highquality software delivery.
- Write clean efficient and welldocumented code.
- Identify and resolve performance issues.
- Conduct code reviews debugging and performance optimization.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Fluent English skills (both written and spoken).
- 4 years of software development experience.
- Strong experience with Python Django and PostgreSQL.
- Ability to write testable code and implement unit tests and endtoend automation tests.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Strong communication skills including the ability to discuss ideas and collaborate effectively.
- Experience participating in standups and planning meetings.
NICE TO HAVE:- Experience identifying and resolving performance issues.
- API development and integration expertise.
