Job Description
Job Summary:
The Technician at Morristown Nissan is a skilled and experienced professional who plays a crucial role in the service and maintenance of vehicles at our dealership. This individual will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various mechanical problems performing regular maintenance tasks and ensuring the overall safety and functionality of vehicles for our customers. This is a fulltime individual contributor role in the auto industry located in Morristown Tennessee.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Technician role at Morristown Nissan offers a competitive salary of $20 to $24 per hour paid on a weekly basis. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical dental and vision insurance 401(k) with company match and opportunities for career advancement within our dealership.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform vehicle diagnostics and repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
2. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes tire rotations and fluid checks.
3. Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
4. Communicate effectively with customers and provide detailed explanations of repair work.
5. Keep accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
7. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
8. Continuously stay updated on the latest technologies and techniques in the auto industry.
9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
3. ASE certification preferred.
4. Proficient in diagnostic equipment and tools.
5. Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
7. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Valid drivers license and good driving record.
9. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
