UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for PRN Hospitalist Physician to join our team in Des Moines IA.

- Established team of 33 physicians and 13 Advanced Practitioners
- Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff
- PRN 1012 hours shifts
- Day swing and night shifts available
- Closed ICU
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities
- Average of 1518 patients per day; no nights or weekends
- Dedicated admitters and dedicated hospitalist nursing staff
- No procedures and no codes
- Patientfocused friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) analytical and problemsolving skills
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of IA
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1B cap exempt)
