What Youll Do
The Walt Disney Company and Epic Games are collaborating on an allnew games and entertainment universe.
In addition to being a worldclass games experience this new persistent universe will offer a multitude of opportunities for consumers to play watch and engage with content characters and stories from Disney Pixar Marvel Star Wars Avatar and more.

Epic Games is seeking a Senior Engine Programmer to join this team. You will innovate and push the limits to deliver the best experience possible for our players. You will problemsolve performance and stability issues and guide developers in creating new industryleading features.
In this role you will
- Improve the overall game experience by optimizing systems for CPU GPU and memory
- Monitor internal client data problemsolve issues and make data analysis improvements along the way
- Deepdive into technical challenges where you will help to drive the vision and solutions
- Act as a bridge and subject matter expert between game developers and engine technology to improve workflows and provide critical guidance on building efficient experiences
- Build tools and workflows to enable developer efficiency and autonomy
What were looking for
- Excellent C skills and software programming principles
- Experience profiling and optimizing in one or more areas of game development
- Experience implementing and debugging large robust systems on game or game engine technology
- Someone who is passionate solutionoriented proactive and autonomous
- Unreal Engine and multiplatform development experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate fluently in English
