Ready to dive into the pickleball scene Lakeshore Sport & Fitness Lincoln Park right down the street from DePaul. s where its at. Weve got three courts nestled on an NBAsize basketball court plenty of room to move and a bustling community of around 175 players. If youre all about pickleball this is the spot for you.
Job Description:
Were on the hunt for a Pickleball Instructor to join our crew. Your gig Teaching everything from Drills & Skills to Intro to Pickleball running private and group lessons and keeping the good times rolling during Organized Open Play. Plus weve got tournaments and social events on the reg and we need your expertise to make em a hit. Youll be working flexible hoursdaytime evenings and weekendsfor about 1015 hours a week depending on whats on the schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Teach killer private and group lessons for players of all levels.
- Keep the vibe chill and fair during Organized Open Play.
- Cook up cool programs to help players up their game.
- Help us host topnotch tournaments and mixers.
Requirements:
- Flexibility to work daytime evening and weekend shifts.
- Ready to put in 1015 hours a week.
- Move around comfortablysitting standing walking you name it.
- Enjoy hanging out with people of all ages and making em feel at home.
- Bring a friendly outgoing vibe and enough energy to keep the game alive.
- Keep things organized manage your time well and communicate like a champ.
- Know your pickleball stufffrom the basics to the nittygritty rules.
Preferred Qualifications (but not required):
- Get certified by the International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) and/or Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) within six months of joining us.
