Job Description
The University of Nevada Reno College of Engineering is recruiting a parttime Coordinator of Community Outreach. The Coordinator of Community Outreach is responsible for the management and promotion of outreach activities that strive to increase the number of ethnic minorities low income and firstgeneration collegebound students who are eligible to enter a degree program at a university. The Coordinator will organize College of Engineering participation in community events focused on STEM recruit and oversee paid mentors in collaboration with the Coordinator of K12 Outreach coordinate tutoring sessions with community partners as well as maintain donor stewardship reporting budgets and grant applications. This position reports to the Coordinator of Recruitment and Outreach College of Engineering.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree and two years 2 of related experience OR
Masters Degree and one 1 year of related experience
Related Experience:
Student support functions such as recruitment coordination of pipeline programs tutoring educational support services or related
Preferred Qualifications
General budget and accounting principles preparing reports presentations evaluations forms budgets public speaking proficiency using personal computer and current software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (Word Access Excel PowerPoint and Outlook).
