Working as Technical Lead for assigned outages including dealing with all technical & safety matters related to outage owning the customer relationship during outage duration and driving customer issues resolution within outage schedule.
Align towards outage excellence including crossfunctional interaction with Engineering Sourcing Project Management Safety and Quality functions to achieve outage KPIs and customer satisfaction.
Ensure implementation/regular rigor towards site DMS to achieve field service outage milestones.
Ensure consistent application of business tools and processes applicable to the scope of outages being executed.
Uses technical experience for dataanalysistosupportrecommendations. Collaborates with internal and crossfunctional resources to arrive at conclusions.
Capture report & implement outages best practices.
Share lessons learned with tangible outcomes/deliverables.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering/or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
Significant experience in the outage of steam turbines preferably on large steam turbines of 100 MW and above.
At least8 yearsof onsite field experience inexecuting steam turbine outages at various sites/customers.
Mobility Requirements:
Shall be operating from Home/Desired Location under work from Remote policy for GE Vernova TFAs.
Extensive travelling to thermal power stations mainly in India for outage .
Desired Characteristics
Technical Skills:
Should have sound fundamentals and knowledge on Steam turbine technologies with operational aspects of various fleets.
Rich services exposure to Steam Turbine Outage skills mainly on large Steam turbines of 100 MW and above.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (MS word/MS excel/MS Power Point) etc
Sound understanding of time/cost control for assigned services outage related site activities of Steam Turbine Overhaul within assigned time & cost estimates.
Exposure and knowledge on scheduling packages such as MS Project/Primavera shall be preferred.
Exposure to outage process like outage planning/outage including site mobilization/ of job alongwith designated vendors/ outage closure/ Outage feedback & Lesson Learnt.
