Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our team! The Scrum Master will lead Broadridge in using Scrum framework within teams to deliver high impact value to the organization. This role is responsible for facilitating the successful delivery of highly visible complex projects in support of Broadridges technology product development teams. We need someone to lead a full Agile team 59 members) through the full Agile process lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will provide mentorship on agile processes and leading agile ceremonies and other team meetings. They will partner with the Product Analyst / Owner and will assure teams are effectively managing the backlog requirements and that the team is meeting sprint objectives while removing any blockers or impediments.
We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandgiven the flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilities:
Directs Associate level Scrum Masters and leads setting up of best practices to exemplify the values and principles of Agile and Scrum
Mentors the project Scrum team to exemplify the values and principles of Agile and Scrum with coaching provided by the Sr. Scrum Master Professional Scrum Master or Release Train Engineers.
Acts as a ServantLeader and Coach capacity to the Scrum team and ensures that the Scrum team adheres to the organizations defined processes and practices; helps guide Product Owner and Development team to adopt mature Agile/Scrum standard methodologies
Facilitates Agile processes including: sprint iteration planning backlog refinement daily standups sprint demo and retrospectives and release planning
Ensures successful completion of assigned projects and programs through effective facilitation and leadership
Facilitates the removal of team level impediments and raises nonteam level blockers to conclusion
Manages release plans iteration plans forecasting and status reporting for the designated projects
Ensures user stories acceptance criteria assumptions and all related documentation are timely and complete supporting development testing and user acceptance activities
Support risk and issue identification and mitigation activities with the agile team including raising those in a proactive and professional fashion when appropriate
Encourages collaboration and proactively seeks opportunities to improve collaboration between distributed teams and other support teams
Facilitates periodic Reviews and Retrospectives by tracking report status through consistent standardized dashboards and metric reporting
Improve transparency and visibility across the Broadridge organization within and outside of the team
Build a safe and trusting environment where conflicts can be managed effectively and professionally
Shields the team from external interruptions that can derail the teams progress
Ensures transparency within and external to the team around the projects goals and progress
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required
25 years of Scrum Master Experience with a Software Development team
5 years of project management experience in the financial services or technology industry
5 years experience managing multiple/combined complex projects in a successful program
Knowledge and experience with Agile techniques Automated Testing Agile Central User Stories TDD Continuous Integration Testing Pairing Agile Games etc.
Scrum Alliance CSM (required) CSP certification or PMIs Agile Certified Professional (ACP)Scrum Alliance CSM (required) CSP certification or PMIs Agile Certified Professional (ACP)
Process management
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Consensus building and negotiating skills
Salary range $90000.00$95000.00. Bonus Eligible.
