We are currently seeking an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to join our dynamic team at ETherapy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between deaf or hard of hearing students and their peers teachers and school staff. This role requires fluency in ASL and the ability to interpret spoken and signed communication effectively in various educational settings.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in remote interpreting or telepractice settings.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and ASL.
Familiarity with assistive technologies used by students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Physical Requirements (Working in a School Setting):
While performing the duties of this job in a school setting the employee is regularly required to stand move between classrooms and interact with students and staff. The role requires continuous hand and arm movements for ASL communication and the ability to interpret in both oneonone and group settings. Occasionally the employee may need to lift or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds and adapt to varying classroom environments. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
