Job Description
Skyline Education Preschool is accepting applications for a lead PreK Teacher. We are located inside AZ Compass Elementary School in Chandler. Parttime and fulltime applications will be considered. Not sure if your education or experience could qualify you as a PreK Lead teacher We are happy to work with you to review your qualifications. We are searching for an awesome outgoing wellrounded teacher who will work well with our 3 and 4yearold children. You need to be able to organize ageappropriate activities & learning centers write thorough lesson plans using Frogstreet Curriculum and use positive guidance techniques. You are expected to understand childrens cognitive social emotional and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. An ideal teacher should be able to communicate with parents and students professionally follow ADHS licensing requirements Quality First Standards & Cognia accreditation standards and most importantly be a selfstarter. The most successful candidates demonstrate strong classroom management training skills a caring personality punctuality patience and previous experience working with children ages 35 on occasion working with schoolage children.

KeyResponsibilities
- Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
- Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching.
- Plan individual and group ageappropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social cognitive and emotional growth.
- Maintain frequent communication with parents through informal discussions progress reports and parentteacher conferences.
- Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
- Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities hygiene and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records forms and files
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement

Requirements:
*TB Test upon hire
*Fingerprint Clearance Card
*High Energy and the ability to work well with others (staff children and parents and to foster a team environment)
*Registered on Arizona Early Childhood Registry
*DES Health & Safety Trainings Completed
*Associates Degree in Early Childhood or related field with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE
*2 or more years working in an early childhood setting desired
*CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtainrequired
