Job Description

On behalf of our client a leading distributor of dental supplies we are looking for a Central
Vendor Manager to ensure the smooth vendor operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To find new vendors incorporate pricing and should be able to grown business
  • To analyze data to identify key brands to target initiate long term relationships with brands senior management resolve any operational logistical or business issues
  • Coordinate with various internal teams to ensure system readiness of enrolled suppliers
  • Lead and develop the management of vendor relationships
  • Ensures best practices for vendor relationship management are followed
  • Developing and sustaining long relationships with vendors
  • Negotiating prices communicating product or servicerelated concerns
  • Finding new vendors and determining which one is offering best prices and product quality
  • Monitor sales trend on online account and local/direct sales
  • Responsible for interdepartmental sales team to determine which products are on demand and finding new vendors


Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience working with vendor management/relationships with
  • dental supplies or relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong proficiency with Quickbooks online Bill Office Suite and Excel
  • Must be able to travel and have a valid driving license
  • Good sales and interpersonal skills with an ability and knowledge to articulate supply chain finance program benefits
  • Detail oriented with good client and documentation handling experience
  • Team player and can work with virtual team in other regions
  • An effective leader and communicator and a seasoned problemsolver
  • Must have strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management
  • Proven analytical thinking project management skills attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are must
  • Strong negotiation skills great problem solving skills
