Working 36.5 hours per week
CYPTS currently provide transport to 6000 children and young people who would not be able to attend education without this support.
This is an exciting time to join the Children and Young Peoples Travel Service (CYPTS) as we have recently gone through a service redesign.
There is now the opportunity to join the CYPTS Team to support the delivery of our statutory duty of providing suitable transport for eligible students ensuring that their needs are met and promoting independence and sustainable transport.
Under the direction of the Independent Travel Training Lead the role of Independent Travel Trainer is a new role crucial to the success of CYPTS Independent Travel Training Programme.

You will need to have experience of working with vulnerable children and/or adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities and understand difficulties parents/carers may face when supporting an independent travel programme.
