Description
- Learn and Execute elements of Safe Machine Operation involving the B25 Band Saw Shot Blaster and 268 & 414 Groover.
- Perform inprocess inspections including dimensional verification and surface prep; perform additional inspections pertaining to product specification.
- Maintain records of inspections and results pertaining to jobs. Verify finished products dimensions and their conformance with drawings work order specifications.
- Verify proper calibration of all inspection instruments and gauges for workstation.
- Know and understand how to properly navigate Medix per job/spool.
- Complete all daily checklists and TPMs.
- Ensure all area 5S duties are getting completed.
- Communicate and interact with Line Leads and Shift Supervisors on maintenance issues needed with the machinery.
- High School Diploma
- Experience in a manufacturing/steel fabrication environment is preferred.
- Computer literacy of Microsoft Windows software is preferred.
- Familiarity with SWI/SOP processes.
- Good understanding of shop math (fraction to decimal) and ability to read tape measure and measuring tools caliper micrometers vernier scale preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings blueprints desired.
- Good written and oral communication skills .
- Good problem solving capabilities desired.
- Must be able to work independently efficiently and be selfmotivated and detail oriented.
