Description

The Employee WellBeing Specialist is responsible for the full delivery of behavior change interventions including assessment design development implementation and evaluation of evidencebased employee wellbeing programs and services to support Mayo Clinics vision and strategic goals. Facilitates lifestyle change through a combination of efforts to enhance awareness change behavior and create environments that support good health practices. Drives results in alignment with the culture and Mayo Clinic employee needs. Requires ongoing collaboration and communication with internal and external partners. Demonstrates project management knowledge including project scope/goal setting and measurable deliverables project schedule and timelines resource management and communication to stake holders. Manages multiple assignments simultaneously. Supports the research of best practices measuring effectiveness and performance. Leads the and ongoing maintenance of established and new employee wellbeing programming and services which may include but not limited to wellness assessments wellness coaching worksite wellness initiatives employee education and programming exercise prescription and training populationbased campaigns and public speaking. Maintains excellent customer service skills to allow promotion of a superior employee experience. Seen as subject matter expert and thought leader related to wellness wellbeing burnout and employee engagement to support Mayo Clinics mission.



Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a related field required with 3 years of professional relevant experience in one of the following: public health wellness programs health promotion exercise science. Masters degree preferred. Certification from a nationally accredited organization preferred. A thorough understanding of health behavior change. Strong skills in leadership problemsolving and organization. Excellent interpersonal writing presentation and project management skills. Ability to think critically take initiative work independently and be versatile and adaptable in a changing environment. Ability to deal effectively with all levels of Mayo organization. Knowledge of health and productivity. Proficiency in power point excel word processing WordPress and database applications is key.
