Job Description
Linkitall (LIA) is seeking an Instructor to support workforce development by delivering comprehensive training programs for clients personnel. LIA is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that links the expertise of human resources with the functionality of leadingedge technology to deliver missioncentric professional services.
- Position: Instructor
- Location: Leesburg VA
- Position Type: Parttime
Responsibilities:
- Deliver inperson and/or virtual training programs to federal employees on key topics including customer service professional communication workplace resilience and constructive feedback.
- Facilitate training using a variety of instructional strategies and adult learning methodologies in accordance with relevant training guidelines and agency objectives.
- Customize course materials and instructional content to reflect the mission policies and unique challenges of public sector service.
- Ensure high levels of learner engagement and retention through interactive activities realworld scenarios and peer learning opportunities.
- Conduct needs assessments collect training feedback and collaborate with stakeholders to refine training content.
- Maintain training documentation and assist with required government reporting metrics and program evaluations.
- Stay current on trends in federal employee development human capital policies and soft skills training approaches.
- Serve as a role model and advocate for civil service values ethical conduct and high performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Education Human Resources Public Administration Communications or a related field.
- 5 years of experience delivering employee training in a federal state or local government environment.
- Expertise in adult learning principles instructional delivery and facilitation of soft skills topics.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of a government organization.
- Experience working in diverse inclusive and missiondriven environments.
- Certifications such as ATD Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) TraintheTrainer or Instructional Systems Design (ISD) are preferred.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms is highly preferred.
