Job Description
Are you a law student eager to gain handson legal experience in family law Modern Law PLLC invites you to join our immersive Summer Legal Internship Program! We are passionate about empowering the next generation of lawyers by providing realworld legal experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Our Summer Legal Internship Program will run from May 2025 through August 2025.
What Youll Gain:
- Immersive Legal Experience: Work alongside experienced attorneys participate in court shadowing and contribute to meaningful family law cases.
- Team Collaboration: Join team and company meetings as well as collaborate with our marketing team to hold accountability and community document preparation sessions.
- Client Interaction: Provide pro bono and limitedscope legal assistance through our Legal Clinic helping real clients navigate complex family law matters.
- Mentorship & Skill Development: Receive guidance and mentorship from our legal team while building critical skills in client advocacy legal research and document drafting.
- Assist family law clients with pro bono and limitedscope projects including drafting pleadings motions briefs and discovery requests/responses
- Participate in accountability meetings with other interns and document preparation sessions for community outreach
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
- Manage deadlines and complete tasks efficiently while following firm guidelines and protocols
- This position is only available to law school students who are Arizona Supreme Court Rule 39(c)4 eligible
- All applicants must be a 2L or 3L at an accredited school of law
- Strong legal research writing and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative fastpaced environment
