We are looking for a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our growing design team at Orvix Engineering. As a UI/UX Designer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our digital products and services. This is a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment where your designs will directly contribute to the innovative engineering solutions we provide to our clients. You will collaborate closely with engineers product managers and other stakeholders to create usercentered designs that are not only functional but also visually compelling and intuitive.
Key Responsibilities:
UI Design: Create visually appealing userfriendly and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications that align with Orvix Engineerings brand and design principles.
UX Design: Conduct thorough user research including user interviews surveys and usability testing to understand user needs behaviors and pain points. Translate these insights into intuitive user experiences that improve overall satisfaction and usability.
Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop wireframes mockups and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and demonstrate the user flow and functionality of digital products.
Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including engineers product managers and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility alignment with project goals and adherence to timelines.
Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive design system ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints and platforms.
Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback on prototypes and live products iterating on designs to enhance usability and user satisfaction.
Branding & Visual Design: Ensure that design solutions are aligned with Orvix Engineerings brand identity and uphold highquality visual design standards.
Performance & Optimization: Collaborate with development teams to ensure the seamless implementation of designs focusing on performance optimization and responsive design across various devices and screen sizes.
Documentation & Handoff: Produce clear and detailed design specifications assets and guidelines to support developers and ensure smooth handoffs throughout the development lifecycle.
Stay Updated: Keep uptodate with the latest design trends tools and best practices incorporating new techniques and ideas into your workflow.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Interaction Design HCI (HumanComputer Interaction) or related field or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 35 years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in both UI and UX design principles.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma Adobe XD Sketch or similar.
Experience with prototyping tools like InVision Marvel or Principle.
Solid understanding of usercentered design processes and best practices.
Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a crossfunctional team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with HTML CSS and responsive web design is a plus.
Experience in the engineering or technical industry is preferred but not required.
