Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Consulting with clients other engineers architects vendors etc. as necessary to determine the most practical and desirable engineering design in keeping with the budget.
- Preparing design criteria for engineering projects and equipment.
- Selecting suitable materials and equipment in accordance with good engineering practices.
- Writing specifications for materials and equipment in a clear concise manner.
- Preparing detailed engineering designs in accordance with good engineering practiceand in compliance with all applicable codes regulations and restrictions.
- Organizing and scheduling work so as to make the most efficient use of time resources and allotted budget.
- Effectively supportingcomplex civil design projects and can efficiently utilize various company resources to accomplish the intended work.
- Coordinating work with that of other engineers designers and teaminvolved in the project.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited fouryear college or university required.
- A minimum of 2 years of engineering experience.
- DOE QClearance
- Proficient with Autodesk Civil 3D
- Proficient with Autodesk CAD
- Proficient with Bentley MicroStation
- Excellent customer service and communications skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to deal with conflicts and stressful situations.
- Ability to organize prioritize and follow multiple projects and tasks to completion.
- Microsoft Office Word Excel PowerPoint Access SharePoint.
