Reporting to the Design Director the Senior Web Designer will create inspiring and engaging digital touchpoints that bring the Cohere brand to life online.
We are looking for a handson designer who excels and has a track record in creating innovative scalable digital experiences and who is skilled in web and digital design best practices. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment that values forwardthinking design and creativity.
The Impact You Will Have:
Design and maintain digital design systems templates grid structures and layout principles that align with the Cohere brand language across web platforms.
Deliver engaging and userfriendly digital experiences including websites landing pages emails and online campaigns.
Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams (marketing product web) to ensure cohesive brand across all digital touchpoints.
Maintain and evolve Coheres digital presence ensuring it delivers on our design and brand attributes and remains fresh modern and relevant across all platforms.
Translate business goals into compelling digital design solutions that are optimized for performance accessibility innovation and SEO.
Continually innovate and introduce fresh approaches to enhance user experience and visual impact of Coheres digital assets.
What We Look For:
610 years of digital and web design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in designing for web email social media and other digital platforms.
Expertise in digital design fundamentals including typography color theory grid systems and layout principles.
Proven experience in designing and maintaining scalable design systems that work across multiple digital platforms.
Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to apply them effectively in web and mobile design.
Handson knowledge of web development principles processes and boundaries with the ability to create design assets that developers can efficiently execute.
Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite Figma or similar tools plus the willingness and ability to adopt new tools as required.
Familiarity with HTML CSS and basic web development concepts (coding is not required but an understanding of what is feasible and effective is essential).
Strong communication skills including the ability to present and discuss your design rationale with stakeholders and team members in person or remotely.
Ability to work quickly through multiple iterations while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring design solutions align with business goals and functional requirements.
Experience working in collaborative environments with remote teams or inperson and adapting to new tools and processes as needed.
