Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detailoriented individual to join our facilities team as a parttime custodian. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our middle school building ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our students staff and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Clean and disinfect classrooms hallways restrooms and common areas
Empty trash and recyclables and replace liners
Mop and sweep floors
Dust and polish surfaces
Restock supplies of paper products and soap
Perform other custodial duties as needed
Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written language
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and materials
Physical ability to lift push and pull cleaning equipment and supplies
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with frequent interruptions
Ability to work around middle school children and staff
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous custodial experience
Availability to work flexible hours including mornings afternoons.
