Job Description

The LNSU is seeking a passionate and energetic Drivers Education Teacher to join our team. This position is pivotal in preparing students to gain their Vermont drivers license through comprehensive classroom instruction and practical driving experience. As a Drivers Education Teacher you will be expected to utilize current Vermont regulations and programs related to driver education ensuring that students are wellinformed and prepared for their driving tests. The position also emphasizes the importance of differentiating instruction to meet the diverse needs of students incorporating technology into lessons and employing best practices for student behavioral support.This role is not just about teaching students how to drive; it is about instilling values such as effective communication problemsolving skills and community engagement. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their highest academic intellectual and personal potential while also contributing to a positive school culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion.We seek individuals who enjoy working collaboratively who value students voices and experiences who like to explore new approaches to engaging students and who bring a sense of joy to their work.LNSU provides a generous compensation and benefit package.
