For one of our ongoing multiyear projects we are looking for Web Developers that can work alongside our software application team to achieve our goals. The ideal candidates for these positions are handson professionals with a strong knowledge of content management platforms and an ability to translate the business needs into clientfriendly functions that will expand our websites influence at Madison College. These two positions will be responsible for helping with the updating of our current online applications.
We are looking for these two different profiles:
Frontend developer
Ma
Backend developer
Must Have:
Experience performing Web Development related work
Demonstrable skills for website redesign project
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Extremely fluent with HTML JS and CSS and PHP
Experience working with a Style Guide
Ability to write JavaScript with and without the use of frameworks such as jQuery
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug Chrome inspector etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes to have consistent style across platforms and browsers
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements Design Development Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.
Experience with Git as a version control system
Experience developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations in a LAMP environment
Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data display and information architecture
Advanced sitebuilding experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as Views Workbench and Webform.
Experience creating custom Drupal modules (preference of Drupal 8/9 knowledge)
Knowledge of the Drupal theme layer
Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS HTML CSS and JavaScript/jQuery
Through understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements Design Development Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs.
Experience with Git as a version control systemFull Time
