Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician 4 (Electrical)
Location: St. Louis MO / Drug Substance Division
Work Schedule: 2nd Shift 2:00PM 10:30PM)
Position Summary:Join Thermo Fisher Scientific and be part of a team that makes a global impact. As a Building Maintenance Technician 4 (Electrical) you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our facilitys mechanical and electrical systems. You will provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency and ensure product safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installations preventive maintenance and repairs on building and mechanical equipment using electrical and mechanical trade skills.
- Resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement programs and participate in plant problemsolving teams.
- Maintain knowledge of all applicable procedures and safety measures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical/electronic repairs 10 years preferred).
- Expertise with Allen Bradley PLCs welding mechanical systems and highpressure gas systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical installation AC/DC motor drives gearboxes hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment communicate effectively and lift up to 50 lbs.
