Position Overview: As a Certified Medical Assistant youll be a key player in providing exceptional patient care and assisting our physicians in delivering topnotch orthopedic services. From managing patient flow to assisting with procedures your role will be vital in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Greet and assist patients in a professional caring manner; manage patient flow; and help patients prepare for exams and procedures.
- Clinical Support: Assist physicians with various procedures cast/splint applications wound dressing changes and more.
- Patient Education: Provide valuable educational resources and clearly communicate physician instructions.
- Administrative Support: Schedule surgeries MRIs lab work and other referrals; manage patient records; assist with prescription refills; and maintain infection control standards.
- Procedure Assistance: Help with EMG/NCV studies and sterile tray setups. Prepare injections perform suture/staple removal and more!
What Were Looking For:
- A selfmotivated enthusiastic and adaptable team player.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Previous medical assisting experience (orthopedic experience a plus but not required).
- Phlebotomy Certification is preferred.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant required.
Competitive Salary: Salary is negotiable based on experience.
