Job Description
Overview
Talent Pool: Nursing
Responsibilities
Performs treatments following established protocols practices.
Monitors and evaluates the progress of patients documenting findings accurately and communicating any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
Educates patients families and caregivers on proper care techniques prevention strategies and signs of complications.
Collaborates with physicians registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care ensure continuity and optimize patient outcomes.
Maintains accurate and uptodate documentation of assessments interventions and outcomes in the electronic medical record system.
Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned.
Qualifications
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Practical Nursing.
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred: 1 year acute care experience
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
Required: Current LPN license in North Carolina; BLS (CPR)American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider correct
