Job Description
Veterans Engineering is insearch of aVascular Surgeonto provide services to ourveterans through theOklahoma City VA Health Care System (VAHSC).
Schedule:WeekdaysMonday through Friday7:30am to 4:00pm
- OnCall:Oncall Weeknights Monday through Friday 4:00pm 7:30am. Physician to carry pager or cell phone at all times
- Oncall Weekends Saturday 7:30am Sunday 7:30am and/or Sunday 7:30am Monday 7:30am. Physician to carry pager or cell phone at all times
- Once paged the contractors physician must respond within15 minutesby phone and under clinically appropriate circumstances or when over the phone consultation is not sufficient onsite within60 minutes.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Certification:shall be Board Certified/Board Eligible Vascular Physician Services
- License:shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
- DEA is Required: (SPECIAL NOTE: For procurements that require a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration providers must have a medical license and be individually registered with the DEA in the state where they will provide services under the contract).
- All licenses held by the personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses.
- Physician(s) who have current full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states but who have or ever had a license restricted suspended revoked voluntarily revoked voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.
