Guest Experience Associate

Eagle Brook Church is a multisite church looking for a highly motivated relational and organized leader to join our campus team as a Guest Experience Associate. This role is designed for people that are interested in taking steps to be trained as a pastor. This person will be developed to recruit and develop volunteers to exceed guest expectations so people experience the love of Christ. They will support the Pastor of Guest Experience by overseeing volunteer schedules and ensuring Guest Experience environments are set up for midweek and weekend services. A person skilled in connecting people to serving will thrive in this role. POSITION SUMMARY

Supports the Pastor of Guest Experience by creating welcoming and inviting experiences for attenders. Assists with building and equipping volunteer teams to serve. Prepares and maintains Guest Experience environments for weekend services including retail caf and lobby experience. Through an intentional training process the Guest Experience Associate will gain leadership skills and spiritual development that will help them thrive in this role and potentially prepare them to step into the role of Pastor. Participates in Eagle Brooks Pastoral Development Program learning the skills and practices of pastoral ministry. Reports to the Pastor of Guest Experience.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads from under the direction of their assigned Pastor of Guest Experience
• Recruits onboards and develops core volunteers for Guest Experience by:
  • Inviting people to use their spiritual gifts as volunteers
  • Providing an excellent onboarding and training experience that equips volunteers to serve well
  • Overseeing volunteer schedules
  • Meeting with leaders onetoone and in groups for spiritual growth and development
• Contributes to the development of volunteer leaders (Directors and Team Leads) by scheduling and facilitating training
• Serves as a spiritual influencer and encourager to volunteers
• Executes centrally designed ministry strategies
• Ensures environments are ready for the weekend and Wednesday night services including
  • Caf
  • Bookstore
  • Lobby experience
  • Collateral and handouts
• Participates in pastoral development training for the purpose of becoming a licensed minister
  • Pursuing a pastoral position is not required
• Orders supplies and maintains inventory for Guest Experience environments
• Works with other campus staff to support the ministry needs of the campus
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 3 years) required
• Bachelors degree in education and/or ministry preferred
• 1 years of experience working in a team setting as a participant or leader
• 1 years of experience in ministry as a volunteer
• Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brooks nine core beliefs
• Demonstrates a Christcentered life
• Models growing in faith through Eagle Brooks five values
• Strong attention to detail and administrative skills

• Salary Range: $20.00$22.00
• Full/Part Time: full time
• Regular/Temporary: regular
• Workdays: SaturdayWednesday or SundayThursday depending on campus service schedule
• Work Hours: Vary. Include weekend and Wednesday evening services plus some evening hours for meetings or events. Needs to be able to meet when volunteers are available or pastoral care is needed.
