Job Description

PGLS is looking for a ThaiLanguage Instructorto teach an intensive course for an adult professional onsitein San Diego CA. This position is for a class starting on May 12 2025 for around for 800 hrs approx. 8 month.

The class is onsite oneonone 6h/day starting in the morning.

Requirements

Educated native or bilingual speaker.
2 year(s) of classroom experience teaching Thai language to adult Englishspeaking students.
1 year(s) of teaching experience in a smallgroup classroom setting.
Must possess the cultural background of Thailand and the region. (preferably raised or educated in Thailand).
Familiarity with the communicative approach to language learning ILR language levels and OPI assessments highly desired.
Familiarity with various computer platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting software (Zoom Skype MS Teams WebEx).
