Assignment: Teacher on Call CHIEF ZZEH GITTLIT SCHOOL (CZG) Old Crow
Start Date: As soon as possible
Chief Zzeh Gittlit School respectfully acknowledges that it is located within the traditional territory of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation.
Chief Zzeh Gittlit School (CZGS) is located in the community of Old Crow Yukon Territory. Old Crow is a remote flyin community in northern Yukon 112 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. Approximately 245 people live in Old Crow. Gwichin is the traditional language of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation people.

Qualifications and Experience
Please clearly demonstrate on your cover letter and resume how you meet the following qualifications and experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience working with school aged students is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain an authentic relationship with the local Yukon First Nation people community members community Elders and families promoting greater community involvement in schoolbased activities and educational programming;
- Eagerness to learn about and integrate the local Yukon First Nation culture & worldview and the language in the classroom;
- Able to follow and carry out instructions with little supervision and
- Communicates clearly and respectfully.
Conditions of Employment
- Have and maintain a RCMP Vulnerable Sector Check
