Job Summary - The Humanities Division has openings to teach Hybrid Online or on campus sections of FYE 105 at multiple Jefferson Campuses.

Job Duties: - The primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach courses maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students success and retention activities and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback.

Minimum Qualifications: - While a Masters Degree is the preferred credential for teaching FYE the Implementation Team recognizes that there are those who may have a great deal of experience and knowledge in regards to the content of the FYE course. Therefore the following Bachelors Plus credentials may also be approved:
Bachelors Degree in Education Bachelors Degree in any area plus experience teaching GEN 100 or GEN 102 or other FYEtype courses Bachelors Degree in any area plus experience with college student success/student services processes i.e. advising student support services counseling

Preferred Qualifications: - Candidates who have experience with intersectional inclusive instruction and with a demonstrated ability to incorporate diverse perspectives into teaching and student engagement are encouraged to identify those experiences in the application materials.
