Express Lube Technician

Jenkins Chevrolet of Venice is now hiring Express Lube Techniciansto perform oil changes rotate/balance and repair/replace tires resurface rotors flush fluids replace filters etc.Previous auto mechanical or service department experience is a plus We will train you!
We welcome Technicians from other brands and Industries such as:
Firestone Valvoline Pep Boys Jiffy Lube Midas etc.

Responsibilities Express Lube Technician:
- Perform multipoint inspection of vehicle including fluids battery belts
tires etc. - Change or top off all fluids grease bearings check/change oil filter
- Change mount and balance tires
- Repair and replacement of tires
- Check tire pressure and add air if needed
- Maintain the dealership records and provide recommendations to customers regarding their vehicles
- Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing technology
- Responsible for keeping the shop area neat and clean
Qualifications:
Auto repair experience/training and/or basic auto equipment knowledge preferred. Dealership service department experience a plus!- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Team oriented flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Good work ethic
